As the drums of the Pennsic War recede, Baroness Fiona and Baroness Hugoline have called their populace to come and compete in 3 challenges set forth by their current Champions of Archery, Thrown Weapons, and Brewing, so that those Champions' successors may be chosen.  Join the Barony of An Dubhaigeainn as we compete for the honor of being selected as the next Champions of our Barony!

BREWING COMPETITION DETAILS:  Calling all brewers!  Prepare to dazzle the senses and capture the essence of royalty with our upcoming brewing competition at Arrows, Axes, and Ales, where Their Excellencies Fiona and Hugoline will select my successor as Champion of Brewers.  I invite you to craft a beverage worthy of a royal court.  Whether you're a seasoned brewer or just starting out, this is your chance to showcase your skills and create a brew that would impress even the most discerning palate.

Theme:
• Luxurious Ingredients:  Utilize the finest ingredients to create a truly refined brew.
• Royal Appeal:  Design a beverage that evokes the opulence and elegance of a royal court.

Paneling:  Brews will be judged using the Panel Rubric of the East Kingdom Brewers Guild to maintain consistency.  For those interested, this paneling will also be officially recorded with the Guild for ranking purposes.  The Rubric and supporting documents can be found at https://ekbg.eastkingdom.org/guild-charter/draft-documents/

Note:  Many period luxuries are more accessible now.  Ingredients do not need to be rare or inaccessible to fit the theme, but they should be documentable.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Loaner Gear will be available for both Archery and Thrown Weapons. 


There will be no feast; however, a hearty dayboard will be provided by the Guild of Cooks of An Dubhaigeainn, coordinated by Sir Gilbert Christian Blackmoor

This is a primarily outdoor event.  There will be Archery and Thrown Weapon ranges as well as a common area for day shades and seating.  We will have the use of the main hall for dayboard use as well as shelter in the event of inclement weather.
