LA Balloon Festival Demo

The Riding of Ravensbridge presents our 9th annual Balloon Festival Demo.  We are excited that the theme for this year's festival is "Star Wars:  Rise of the Balloons".  With an estimated attendance of 100,000+ people, we invite you to join us for the entire weekend or even for a day.  We will host as many aspects of the SCA as we can.  We have A&S, we have forging, we have Fencing, we have Fighting, and this year we will be doing a "Cantina" offering music, dancing, cold refreshments and medieval food samples.  Our spot is in the shade with access to the open-air amphitheater for demos.  This is a NON-CAMPING event.  We will be open Friday from 3pm-6pm, Saturday from 10am-7pm.  and Sunday from 10am-7pm.  Saturday, starting at 11am, there is a parade from Auburn to Lewiston that we would love for folks to participate in ( Please be there for 1030am).  Sunday, on the big field, will be extra Family Fun Day with a ton a Family activities.  Parking for participants will be in the Farmer's Market Lot and the Parking Garage next to the park.  We will have access to a golf cart for folks who need help getting to the site as well as a wagon and extra hands for folks who need to bring stuff down to the site.  Tentative schedule for the event days:  Fri 1pm-3pm Set-up; 3pm-6pm open.  Sat.  9am-10am Arrival/ set-up, 1030am Parade Line-up, 11am Parade, 10am-6pm open.  Sun.  9am-10am Arrival/set-up, 10am-7pm open.
